From Pat Patton,                                                                 04/09/1999

It was a great time. I grew up in Albany, Missouri, a small town about 100 miles north of K.C. and I used to look forward to watching Shock Theater every week. Interestingly, when we put Channel 29 on the air a couple of years ago, my original program plan was to buy a bunch of the old horror movies and get a host to recreate the Shock Theater I had loved as a kid. However, there were simply too many other things that needed to be accomplished and I never got around to getting it together. I did interview Johnny Dare, the radio DJ, about hosting it.

Ah, for the good old days!

 Thanks

 Pat

Hi Tom,                                                                                   05/29/1999

My name is Jeff and I was surfing the web and like you are a big horror host fan. I am from just below Pittsburgh and watch our local monster movie show called "Fright Night Friday". I have been fortunate enough to appear on the show numerous times as The Exorcist, a helper of our ghost host "The Spooky Spectre".
It's been a blast to get to know the cast and crew of the show and forge a lot of good friend ( or should I say FIEND ) ships with, especially my mentor and best friend Spooky. We have had a lot of fun with his family and mine away from " Fright Night Friday". We've become pals since I won on the shows call-in contesta few years back.
The show is produced at California University of Pennsylvania and aired on it's tv station CUTV every friday at the stroke of midnight. We haved gained a cult following around the tri-state area and have gone national this past fall on CBN College Broadcast Network. Hopefully, you just might have already seen us on your college tv station. I'm not sure what university is close to you, but check if they have CBN on their station.
We are on hiatus for summer break but will be cranking out new episodes by summer's end.Spooky and cast have been out to horror conventions in PA and Ohio and are gearing up for Pittsburgh's " Monster Bash 99" in late June. We get to meet alot of celebrities at theese cons, from Tom Savini to Butch Patrick to David Prowse. It's been real cool to be a part of the show .
Well, It's been fun telling you a little about our show , if your'e curious about more please e-mail me back ,I'd like to know more about your monster movie show and what's going on in KC.
